I just picked up FS2Crew and have been browsing the manual and tutorials. This is a noob question but is it possible to save and resume a flight.  Will FS2Crew pickup at the point where I saved the flight?  I'm not sure if the P3D save will also save the FS2Crew state.  Its not always possible for me to complete a flight in one sitting.

There is no issue in saving and resuming a flight.

However fs2crew is not saved with the flight but once you have reloaded your flight, just launch fs2crew again and skip the steps until your actual step.

 

To make it clear, if you save your flight during the cruise, when you reload your flight, launch again fs2crew and skip all the step until "Descent procedure" with the down arrow on the main panel.

 

Fs2crew is very flexible and allows to resume at any step of the process.
