Upgrading to Service Pack 2 problem

Featured Replies

Problem: I run Active Sky ( Active Sky 2012 ) --> message says: Service Pack 2 released,All AC2012 users should upgrade.

         By upgrading I downloaded  "ActiveSkyNext_FSX_Update.exe"

Executing this file gives an error message: " A valid ASN version must be installed to apply this update "

Now I am lost and wonder what to do.

Your help is appreciated

Hi Hubert,

It's my understanding the ASN (Active Sky Next) is a different product than Active Sky 2012.  You might want to search for an AS2012 update and try that.

Mike

ASN is a different product to AS2012 which is where you went wrong.

The download page for all HiFi AS products is here http://www.hifisimtech.com/downloads/

The latest version for AS2012 is B5354 you can check what you have at the bottom of the initial AS screen.

Hi Hubert,

As other users have mentioned, AS2012 is a different product than ASN. Please make sure that you have the correct download version for AS2012. If you continue to have issues, please feel free to open a support ticket at: http://support.hifitechinc.com and we will be happy to assist you directly.

Have a great day!
