August 27, 201510 yr Hi everyone, How can I safely de-activate the MD-11 so I can reinstall my OS and reinstall again. I know on the 777 and 737 you can do it via the FMC. September 1, 201510 yr AFAIK, there is no way to do this. Having said that, all I ever had to do before, was to open a ticket to request a reactivation with minimum hassle. September 1, 201510 yr Commercial Member How can I safely de-activate the MD-11 so I can reinstall my OS and reinstall again. People tend to forget that, unlike the NGX and 777, the MD11 activates differently. The MD11 just needs your order code, email, and store password to be activated. If the activation server doesn't see anything odd on the next attempt, it won't give you any trouble. Reimage the OS and have a shot. If there are issues, let us know, but definitely try first.
