August 4, 200520 yr I think this doesn't exist, yet, but in case it does, is there any special effect that can be added to aircrafts to show the hot air behind the engines while the AC is taxing for example. I guess the concept is similar to the vapo trails. Thanks,Leo
August 4, 200520 yr Ever think of doing a search in the file Library for Heat Effects? Cheers Clarke Kruger - CYEG
August 6, 200520 yr Clarke is right. I've seen one in the file library, though I think it was for the PMDG 737. I do believe there is another more general one out there too. August 6, 200520 yr Or a friendlier way, "Why not try a search for heat effects?" Let us know what you find?Sounds much friendlier than "Ever think of trying a search for heat effects?" How rude. It would be better to not say anything if your reply is going to be so curt and impolite.
August 6, 200520 yr Commercial Member Leo started his post with:"I think this doesn't exist, yet, but in case it does..." To me, this indicates that he'd been looking. ...And who cares if he hadn't? It's no skin off your a$$ is it?No, Clarke is not right. Being rude and impolite is never right. If you don't have something constructive to say, then why bother to click the reply button at all?Jim
August 6, 200520 yr Author Also, 737heat.zip was designed for the PMDG 737 so it might work for the 747 (use at your own risk). Some did not like it, I did though.
