I have decided on my specification for new computer system for FSX and 737NGX

 

I already have the disks for FSX but was wondering if it would be an idea to purchase and install the Steam edition instead of the original FSX

 

Is there any problems with the STEAM edition and 737NGX?

 

Any advice or fuidance will be most welcome and useful as always

Nope, as long as you go get the steam version of the installer, here:

Make sure to uninstall the old version before installing the new one.

Installing FSX-SE rather than FSX disk will save you a lot of trouble if you intend to switch to it later anyway. Steam edition is better optimised and should give you better performance. Especially regarding memory management and VAS.
