September 11, 201510 yr Hello, I'm really tempted right now to try X-Plane after yet another OOM in P3D. Is there anywhere that we can buy X-Plane with some sort of money back guarantee if we are not satisfied? How about an add on or two? If I did try X-Plane, I'd want to try it with a plane that I'd actually fly often. So, I'd probably buy either the JarDesign A320 or A330 to along with this "trial". If it doesn't perform like I'd expect, or offer me an experience that is at least as good as P3D, can I return any of these purchases? Thanks in advance. Edit - I should add, I am aware of the demo and I have tried it. Again though, like others have said, 15 mins or continuing on AI just is not good enough in my opinion to decide. September 11, 201510 yr Hello Kevin, As far as I know, there is no money back guarantee available from Laminar or any of the venders that sell it. I think Steam may have a money back program as long as you've played it under 2 hours, but I'm not sure if that applies to all games. But that might be your best bet. Keep in mind the steam version does not take part in the betas. I originally bought the Disk version a few years ago when XP10 came out, and didn't like it. after 2 weeks I sold it for about $10 less than I paid for it on Ebay. (It went fast). Then ended up buying it again 2 months later when I felt like I didn't give it a fair chance (which I didn't). Glad I did, because I love it now. Rob
September 11, 201510 yr If you buy X-Plane 10 from steam you can get fully refunded if you have under 2 hours played in 2 weeks of purchase http://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/
September 11, 201510 yr Maybe you can buy it boxed (new or used), so that you have the option to re-sell it without losing much money (or at all). "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
