December 16, 201510 yr pete 5 im running the uiautomanticore from windows vista my old laptop runs on vista lol it works great
February 26, 20206 yr You should remember that not everyone has the problem of the sim crashing. On many systems uiautomationcore.dll is not even needed ( i am talking about the version that belongs in your main FSX/FSX SE Main folder - NOT THE ONES IN YOUR windows system32 or syswow64 folders - leave those alone) some systems crash FSX after a certain number of menu selections and outside “looks”. If your system fits this ailment, download the fsx version for uiautomationcore.dll and place it in the main fsx folder of your sim, try it to see what happens. If you are still getting crashes, then I would seriously consider rebuilding a new fsx.cfg by renaming your current file to something like old_fsx.cfg and then running fsx. Of course, expect to redo all your settings again.
February 26, 20206 yr Administrators I think this was all figured out 5 years ago! Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
March 15, 20206 yr OK, Charlie.....if that is the case, then the post can be done away with. Just thought I would throw it in there for those that haven't scrolled all the way back to 2014 or so.
