Addon airport's position is off

At all addon airports I've checked so far, I see that they're not properly lined up, or the airport details arent lined up with the airports, either way... My navigation does lead me to the start of the runway, on deviations there, but progressive taxi and taxiway signs and lights are out of position. Sign and lights are often right on the taxiways instead of at the side, and progressive taxi is visible besides the taxiways, instead of on them.

Since this problem is not just a single airport, but all/most of them, this doesnt seem like something I have to look for with the addons themselves, but with the sim.

Does anyone know what's going wrong here and what I could try to fix it?

Cheers!

Maarten

Maarten,

You didn't say what you have for scenery (not airports).  Are you using any ORBX products?

Details about my setup can be found on my profile, but to specify: I'm using FTX Global/Open LC (Vector for elevation only), I've got several FTX regions PNW, PFJ, NRM and NOR and with that I'm using UTX 2.1 USA and Europe and FreeMesh.

Airport I've seen this problem are from different brands, like: FTX, FSDT, T2G, ES, Vidan, NL2000 and more.

Cheers!

Just a stab in the dark, but with the combination of scenery & mesh add-ons you have and if all installed, that sounds like it could cause the problems you are having.  If you need to have them all installed and running, then make sure they occupy the proper positions in your scenery.cfg file or strange results may occur.  there are plenty of threads here on AVSIM that discuss procedure, issues, resolutions and explanations.
