Best way to get MCE to disconnect Jetway

Featured Replies

What would be the best way to get MCE to disconnect the Jetway and how would one go about it ?

I would guess could request despatch for it or ground to action ?

Looking at automatic the Ctrl J without me having to press the buttons.

Suggest you use Voxkey to set a command e.g.

"DISCONNECT jetway" with key set to Ctrl-J.

Then just say to CoPilot/purser "Disconnect jetway" and assuming the Scenery is set accordingly it should work.

You could also do the same to Connect the jetway with a different command

You may also be able to do something in a Voxscript by including the Voxkey command, but I'm not sure.

Glad it worked. I hadn't actually tried it myself. Will have to give it a go too.

Re my above suggestion.

How does one include a VoxKey command that has been set up, as I suggested above, in a VoxScript?

Thanks,

Stuart
