October 9, 201510 yr Author You're just not old enough Ron. All a matter of perspective I suppose, But, I remember when it was the fastest, and most luxurious single engine plane on the ramp. No doubt it was, but aesthetically it still doesn't do it for me. Oh I'm old enough mate. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
October 9, 201510 yr Very nice paint Ron, but I recently removed the aircraft from my sim. I quite often go through stages of changing things; at the moment I'm more into the tubeliners, flying out of London City airport. In about six months, I will probably do the big re-format again, and do some more GA. Now if only I could have suitable ATC for the UK, and scenery that doesn't drag my computer to it's knees.....but then we can all dream, can't we? LOL. Cheers,Andrew. Kind regards, Andrew.
October 9, 201510 yr No doubt it was, but aesthetically it still doesn't do it for me. Well, leaving aside the issue of your obviously questionable taste... The V35B remains my ideal for what a GA single should be, both inside and out and to look at and to fly. The F still has those nice Bo lines, but it just looks a bit more pedestrian without the V-Tail. I guess it either captures you or it doesn't. As others note - to fly one is to love one. It's a plane in which control forces just all feel right and in harmony. I was fortunate enough to have done my very first hour of instruction in a pristine V35B. What a letdown it was when I had to do the rest in well-worn C152's! Note that even the straight tail F (and the baby Baron as well) has a tendency to wag its tail a bit in turbulence without the help of a yaw damper. This is more an issue for motion sickness prone rear-seat passengers than it is for those in the front. But back to the subject at hand - very nice looking paint! Scott
