October 8, 201510 yr Hi Steve, First off I'm going to babble on a bit. I purchased your DX10 Fixer a while back and was so disappointed with the performance of my sim after switching to DX10 that I asked the FSS if they could refund my money back as I thought that this program just won't work on my system, I wanted to punch myself in the face for making this purchase!! With that being said, I am glad that they denied my request......I have reinstalled the Fixer recently and set it up as per the manual and AdamNZ's how to guide and it might be the best thing that has ever happened to my sim. Your work is truly a game changer, Amazing! I now deserve a few punches in the face for ever doubting this Amazing little tool! Okay enough of that, now for my question. I use PrecipitFX (DX10 option enabled) do I need to check any of the rain and snow options in the Fixer or is it better that I uncheck them? Thanks again for this really great piece of software! Regards Greg Z,
October 8, 201510 yr Commercial Member Hi Greg I am glad you like it, but no need for violence! If it changes the rain shader then it will be greyed out in the fixer and you cannot set anything, if it doesn't change the shader then it will not be greyed out and you can can and should set settings normally in the fixer . So bottom line is you cannot really go wrong! My FSX Analysis Blog
