In my opinion, I think your system would handle FSX DX10 better, your GPU only has 2GB and your i5-4460 CPU might not totally be up to the task of P3D, but it is really hard to say as all systems are so different.

Hi, I also use FSX (gold boxed) DX10, I also own P3D but have found that my system which is a bit older now (i7 2700k @4.7ghz, GTX 680, P8Z77-V pro/Thunderbolt) runs FSX better than P3D My rig runs P3D pretty decent just not to the standard I want it. In my opinion if you think you have a strong enough rig you should definitely go with P3D if not then I feel like FSX DX10 is still pretty darn good. Hope this helps Greg Z

Hi, You could probably delete that desktop icon and then go to your AS16 folder and send the AS16.exe to desktop and it should show up properly. Hope this helps

Hi, I have both AS16 + ASCA and I'm having a good time with them (FSX DX10) I would say there is not a whole lot of difference between ASN and AS16 from the outside but internally they have done some extra work. I've tried AS16 + REX soft clouds and love that they work well together too. I'm happy with the upgrade and everything seems to work with FSX just fine so far I love the dynamic texture changes its pretty cool!

Zero Issues on my end as well, and my sim seems sharper and smoother. Hope all who have issues get them sorted.

Hi, My advice would be to delete all ReShade and SweetFX files from your sim and re-download again from the ReShade site and then set it up using the ReShade GUI it will add the proper files to your sim if you're using DX9 use the DX9 option if using DX10 use that option. I had a similar issue with the API.dll and this has worked for me ( I also use DX10 ) Hope this helps

I'm having the same issue, was able to message a moderator who told me to update Java. I have tried that on one of my computers with no luck. I am not able to reply from my iPhone, iPad , or any of my 3 computers, very strange, hope something can be done.

Hi, I also use FSX (with Steves DX10 Fixer) a move to P3D Vx will certainly be in the future but I'm very happy with my sim now. I personally would recommend FSX acc. Or FSX SE with Steves dx10 fixer and then add reshade with sweetfx 2.0 (free) As ENB doesn't work with dx10. Sweetfx makes things look amazing and real life and is very easy to use with no fps impact. If you do a quick web search about reshade with sweetfx you will see that many folks are very happy with it. Also, if you check out the presets (page 17) there are some great ones for FSX dx10. Reshade also works with P3D as well Hope this helps http://reshade.me/

They'll be back with the same old aircraft doing the same old thing that they have done for the last 40 or so years. Transport Canada is a Joke!! The system needs a total overhaul!

Hi Steve, First off I'm going to babble on a bit. I purchased your DX10 Fixer a while back and was so disappointed with the performance of my sim after switching to DX10 that I asked the FSS if they could refund my money back as I thought that this program just won't work on my system, I wanted to punch myself in the face for making this purchase!! With that being said, I am glad that they denied my request......I have reinstalled the Fixer recently and set it up as per the manual and AdamNZ's how to guide and it might be the best thing that has ever happened to my sim. Your work is truly a game changer, Amazing! I now deserve a few punches in the face for ever doubting this Amazing little tool! Okay enough of that, now for my question. I use PrecipitFX (DX10 option enabled) do I need to check any of the rain and snow options in the Fixer or is it better that I uncheck them? Thanks again for this really great piece of software!
