I notice Framework error appears on both. .Net framework is up-to-date.

Any feedback appreciated. I have also posted on LM forum with no responses so far.

Update

For what is worth the reason for the crashes due to the Saitek x52 drivers which I had always intalled before on win7 64. but it seems P3Dv3 doesn't like them.
Not sure what I am going to use as a throttle.

Please see the AVSIM CTD Guide, page 10 for API.dll errors and page 13 for ntdll.dll errors. Looks like high settings, a bad tweak, or too high/too low CPU voltages. The exception code means nothing (c0000005), Memory_Access_Violation. It is common in 99% of all crashes of any application. If you have any tweaks or high settings, move the p3d.cfg to a temporary directory, restart P3D and see if this fixes the problem. If not, then you can return the one you placed in the temp folder.

Thank you Jim.

Saitek driver for the X52 definitely caused the crashes. Removing the device restored P3D to full function. Have posted on Saitek Facebook page to let them know about the problem.

These very same drivers for win7 64 worked very well on version 2.5.
