Poor fps P3D V2.5

Featured Replies

Hi all,

These are my computer components:

i5-15150 @3.0GHz

AMD Radeon 7790 1GB

8GB RAM.

I am using REX 4, FTX and sceneries

I've tried to change the cfg and I've tried a lot of tweaks. for example: I bought the scenery of warsaw (drzewiecki-design) and when I am using Virual Cockpit I am getting 6-8 FPS.

I can't do anything with 8 fps and I've selected unlimited FPS..

Please help me cause I don't know what to do

Regards

Aviv

Sorry but you need a new computer - its not P3D and get an nvidia card

Why ? I know many people with AMD card and they get good performance.

I forgot to say: I am getting 8 FPS with the NGX at warsaw..

Rich has told you what you needed to know.

Your rig simply isn't up to the job. And `many people` with AMD cards are constantly wishing they had Nvidia. Sorry, but that's the fact of it.

You might be able to run a default installation of P3D with those specs, but you are weighing your sim down with hefty resource-consuming addons and it cannot cope.

Hey Aviv, - Before I got all wrapped up in a New Computer - which You will Probably - Eventually have to do anyway - try upgrading Your Video card to nvidea - the best one you can afford - and at least 2gb - and when it does come time to do the Computer thing - You should be able to Use it with the New rig - The Guys on this Form are really great !! - however they are definatly not Low end users - and remember - NO FUN Allowed !! - Johnman   B)

I concur that a more robust video card is needed in order to run the platform.

Hi,

Aside from a cpu/gpu/ram update, you are using one of the hardest hitting addon scenery developer (drzewiecki-design) software that I have "EVER" come across and this includes FSDreamteam, Flytampa, Flightbeam.  drzewiecki-design have wreaked havoc on my systems performance to the point I will no longer purchase and install their products.
