October 13, 201510 yr I`m thinking about this system for FSX: -I7 4790K - 4.4ghz (turbo boosted) -GTX750Ti 2gb -8gb RAM -500gb HDD Could this run FSX with addons like the PMDG737 smoothly? Thanks.
October 13, 201510 yr GFX Card is weak. You want a 960 at worst with the 4790k, or ideally a 970 or 980 P3D v4.5 MSFS2020 Hisense 50" 4K TV Ryzen 9600x 64gb DDR5 6000mhz, Asrock B650m HDV/M.2 Gigabyte 16gb 9070XT, Thermalright Aqua Elite 240mm 2TB NVMe Boot/FS2020 Drive, 2TB NVMe P3D Drive. Saitek Yoke, Pedals, Radio Panel, Switch Panel, 2 x FiPs
October 13, 201510 yr If you're getting any kind of upgrade, I wouldn't skimp on anything. Go all out. -i7 6700K -GTX 980 or 980 Ti -16 GB DDR4 RAM -Fast SSD, preferably one for Windows and one for FSX. Jeff Thomson
October 14, 201510 yr As always, this stuff depends on your max budget. But yes, if you can afford it, I'd agree with Jeff.
October 14, 201510 yr Author I`ll probably stick to 8gb RAM as FSX doesn`t use anymore then 4. My budget is 830 euros so the I7 4790K would be the top of my budget along with the GTX750Ti. October 15, 201510 yr 830, that's about 600 of my English quid. That's a very small budget. What do you have now that you're reusing?
