January 12, 201610 yr Author I'm torn now between a standard Evga 980 GTX card ($506) or even a baseline 970GTX (970 uses 145 watts of power btw and 980 gtx 165 watts), vs Evga 980ti GTX (uses 250 watts) ($659).. gathering the ti gains 20% over my existing 780ti (250 watt power drain)..
