October 31, 201510 yr Do the landing lights actually light up the runway? Mine don't. I have the Navajo installed in P3Dv3 and have "Landing-lights illuminate ground" enabled in the P3D "Lighting" config screen. And this is at default airports. There is also no click spot on the GTN750 bezel to pop it up. I know I can pop it up another way but like clicking on the bezel. How do you get the GTN750 to couple with the auto-pilot? There is no vertical guidance on an LPV approach. I caved and bought this. Why did I do that? --- Jim ---
October 31, 201510 yr I use FSX and the landing and taxi lights do illuminate the ground, it's just that they are not particularly bright and they do not illuminate the ground very far ahead of the aircraft, which makes them just short of completely useless. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
October 31, 201510 yr Author Thanks Stans. I can't see that they illuminate the ground at all. Wondering if they can be changed out. --- Jim ---
November 1, 201510 yr It would require changing the aircraft model, something that only Carenado can perform. November 2, 201510 yr Author Reloading the aircraft at night and the landing lights work. It must be a P3Dv3 problem since I'm reading that other aircraft have the same problem. --- Jim ---
