Sorry if I am missing something here... Is there a floatplane for P3D v3 (LM or addon)?

Try the Carenado Cessna 185 Bush version.  Its for FSX but works well in P3D.

Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended, fantastic plane and comes on floats too. It is not "officially" v3 compatible, but just point installer to v3 folder and that's it: no problem at all.
