November 10, 201510 yr Any of you with this setup and no problems ? I ask because sometime ago I made the STUPID move of buying P3Dv2.5, just 1 month before v3 was release :-/, and even worst - the 2nd 777 by PMDG to run with it :-/// So, I am considering installing P3Dv2.5 just to run the 777, and then have FSX:SE for the rest ( NGX and A2A stuff, RealAir stuff will also go P3Dv2.5... ). Any problems with such a co-existence of sims ? November 10, 201510 yr They are 2 totally different programs, so obviously will not affect each other. Re the P3Dv2.5 purchase.... You DO know that you have a 60 day period to see if you are happy with it & then can ask for a refund? Robin "Onward & Upward" ... To the Stars, & Beyond...
November 10, 201510 yr Author I know Robin, and thanks for reminding me of that, but when it was already too late. I did buy it less than a month before v3 was released, but when v3 was released I was too busy to even start p3d, and whenI finally remembered about that refund policy, it was already too late. Anyway, I was fine with v2.5 when I installed it. I plan to use the PMDG 777 200 with it ( bought that too, although I had it and the 300 for FSX:SE... ). I just don't know ( but that pertains to the PMDG forum ) if both versions of the 777 can peacefuly co-exist. And I never experienced any OOM or CTD s with v2.5. Did one long haul flight with the 777, and ASN pumping the weather, so, since my rig it's an "old" i5 2500, although the graphics card is good - GTX 960 4 GB, I think I wouldn't benefit that much from upgrading to v3 ?
