Need A Plane!!

Recommended Posts

Guest Rick1486

Hi - I'm looking for either a light plane (Cessna type prop job) or a small jet which has the level of attention to detail as the PMDG big jets for use in FS9. What do you recommend (with links please if possible).I don't mind either payware or freeware.CheersRickp.s. Lots of different liveries for any of the above would be nice to have too.

Donny AKA ShalomarFly 2 ROCKS!!!For a small freeware jet I like the Eclipse 500, but have heard nice stuff about the Howard 500 as well though I don't have it. Veneviviones Rockwell 690 B is excellent, the no VC "lite" *variant* which is included still has "reference points" so you can tell exactly which o'clock position you are looking in. The full VC is excellent. The freeware Avanti might be as big a factor in the next RTW race as the payware version was last year. It has mach hold, the autopilot can be used in climb/descent, and engine wear/overtorque is not modeled. Though, it is *not* a canard in real life, and the freeware Avanti can bite in a stall or when close to it. Something to keep in mind.Edit: How could I have possibly forgotten the Realair enhancements for the default Cessna RAS_172.zip and the AFG Pilatus PCXII??? All this and more in the Avsim library.Best Regards, Donny:-wave

You have the most excellent designs by Milton Shupe and his team:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...pe&CatID=fs2004Then there are the Lynn and Bill Lyons beautiful creations:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...ns&CatID=fs2004There is the Beech King Air B200 by aeroworx, one of my favshttp://www.aeroworx.comAlso FSD International, definitely some of the best designs you will find in the Flightsim world, I highly reccomend the PC-6:www.fsd-international.comFlight1 has a few planes close to my heart, like the Cessna 421 Golden Eagle, an older design, but darn it still is beautifulhttp://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=421C-001And the first group I purchased a payware plane from is Dreamfleet, my General Aviation pushers ;) The Cessna 310 is one of my alltime favourites:http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/Previews/C31...eview_home.htmlCarenado is another top developer of small GA aircraft, that are simply amazing:http://www.carenado.comI could come up with many more, but I could be here all day!!

The new 337 by FSD looks to be a winner.
