Cannot reinstall Flight One B200

Featured Replies

The Beech 200 from Flight One was great until I tried to reinstall it on a new computer. No luck. When I start the aircraft fsx crashes.

Flight One customer service sent me a 2 word reply (a Ticket Number).

Nothing since then. This is the last time that I buy from them.

A couple of things for you to try:

1) The installer has to create some Windows firewall rules to make the aircraft work. In the half dozen times, I've installed, twice it did not create the rules. Running the installer as admin with UAC off seems to be the reliable way to do this.

2) In your appdata folder, there is a subfolder called "Flight One Software" and then a sub folder for the B200. In this subfolder are the persistent settings and G1000 database files. Clear this "KingAir" folder before you do the re-install.

Hope this helps.
