according to manual, before TOD I should set informations in BRIEFING PANEL - so I set DA/DH for example BARO 380.

Is there a way to FO automatically set minimums on PFD? Yesterday I made a flight and had to manually set DA.

 

And why is necessary to set in briefing panel DA/DH or other informations like STAR/VECTORS, if I often don't know what procedure and what approach I will get from ATC (I fly on Vatsim)?

Hi Lucas,

 

1. You need to manually set the DA because the PMDG SDK doesn't give us the power to accurately set DA.  I wish we could do that, but it's not technically possible due to SDK limits.

 

2. You should ask ATC what approach you can expect before the TOD so you can set things up.  If things change, you can always "re-brief" as necessary.  The most important thing is that the DA/DH values are correct for your approach.
