737 to jump all over the place on load

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have this rather odd behavior when I load the NGX for p3d in the sim (p3d v3)

Please see the  short video where I show you the problem.

Things I already tried:

- installed all versions of simconnect

- re-install

- removing FSUIPC settings for controls

- deleted VAInterfacee

didn't work.

Migration tool installed?

Note, I simply said "installed" and not necessarily used on our product.

I've had very similar issues with only NGX with the migration tool installed. As soon as I uninstalled the migration tool everything worked perfectly. These results were 100% consistent for me with relation to the migration tool.

Indeed it is installed, not used for the NGX as it is P3Dv3 native. I'll see what happens when I un-install it.

You don't even need to uninstall it, actually.

To correct:

Look up file MigrationTool.cfg in Migration Tool's install folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Flightsim Estonia\Migration Tool). Open it with Notepad, change line PMDG737=1 to PMDG737=0, save the file and start Prepar3D.

I did note, however, the discription on the YouTube video. Not much we can do about software like the EMT getting in the way of things, honestly. I know it all might seem so clear on the surface, but a little benefit of the doubt goes a long way.

I'll edit the youtube post and if this works I'll make a new video for future reference and for other people who might run into this issue.

EDIT: Tried and tested. This solution is CCONFIRMED to be working.
