December 13, 201510 yr I picked up the PA-34 during the recent sale and I just want to confirm what that rectangle is in the front windshield right in front of the pilot. Is that where the real world window heat would be? I think the Baron 58 also has that. If that's correct I don't think it's modelled in Carenado's (like it is in my A2A's). So if it is window heat and it's not modelled, is there an easy way for me to get rid of it? I'd just rather not have it if it's useless and distracting? Love Airplanes and American Muscle Cars
December 13, 201510 yr That is indeed the window heater, and no, you cannot remove it, as best I know. Bert
December 13, 201510 yr Author Alrighty, thanks for confirming that Bert. It reminds me of the winter beaters (cars) my buddies and I would drive when we were young and broke. The heaters were crappy so driving around in -35 temps usually allowed you to see out of only a small area at the base of the window. It made for some challenging driving, and I can't imagine trying to land an airplane through that... LOL Love Airplanes and American Muscle Cars
