Help! Scenery.cfg error

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

After I added ALL the region mesh files, I downloaded all the patches and added them to the scenery library. After doing so, when I loaded FSX I got a bunch of "scenery error area 126 etc" I download the scenery configurator tool and see this.

If you have the freeware sceneryconfiig editor (here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/fs-sceditor/) select the 'normalize paths' under the actions folder. If this doesn't work, then use the same program to edit the paths to the scenery. One of these approaches will fix the error.

Of course, I could be wrong, but it looks as if you have put each patch into its own folder. Your supposed to just have one "patches" folder.

Each consecutive patch is unzipped into the one single "patches" folder. Each patch will add to or overwrite the older bgl file with the newer one.

Looks as if your method is confusing.
