December 23, 201510 yr If you use FS9 traffic files in FSX you will not see any traffic unless you convert them to FSX as explained above, or if you turn off the option "see aircraft shadows on the ground." You may also find that using FS9 aircraft can cause some odd lighting effects so you might want to spend the time going through all your aircraft and deleting the lightmap textures as FSX doesn't use them and they can cause some problems... I totally agree with the comments about WoAI by the way - they are a great resource... As for GA AI traffic - Orbyx have a number of freeware GA packages that come with FSX models - really worth having, though the traffic files are specific to particular Orbyx regions. You will also find GA packages in the library and there are the Ultimate GA packages - I think you get those via WoAI as well. Last of all, there is a very inexpensive payware package from Henry Tomciewz (probably misspelled sorry) that will place single engine Cessna traffic throughout the entire world - absolutely excellent even though it was created many years ago...
