Weird "P3D.exe has stopping working with win10"

Featured Replies

Hi gents,

Today after a flawless flight with P3D V3, suddenly the sim stopped working with the error above. Solved just running the .exe as admin (just a step before getting crazy, figuring out how to repair my install). Did I miss something with win10 updates? Did anyone experience this issue with win10 pro? Never had a prob before, running the .exe with default privilege (UAC disabled).

Cheers,

I had the same problem windows 10 try uninstalling the updates fixed mines

Your status as an Administrator either changes or its privileges change in 10. I see all sorts of things where I am told to Use Admin settings despite always having that privilege. I sometimes have to go onto the properties/security to set "me" as having the right to make changes to a file or folder. The worst is when you are told that something is protected by the "Trusted Installer". That seems to lock the file from everyone except Bill Gates.

There was an update recently which was very large update that fixed some things and broke others.
