4k greatly reduces any need for NI settings and gives a much better result, obviously.

 

Currently using only NCP and in P3Dv3 MSAA 8x. However, I have to admit I occasionally experiment with NI SGSS at 4x and 8x and SLI allows for this without too much penalty.  

 

Shimmering and aliasing is a bit subjective though, but they have always irritated me.  :smile:

AA is a non-issue with 4K and shimmering is hardly noticeable, but as Steve says, it is subjective.  Us simmers have different OCD thresholds
