January 3, 201610 yr Hi I've used gtx670's in SLI about a year. In FSX, there's little point as FSX can't use SLI. In p3d you could make a case but with my i5 @ 4.2ghz the graphics card isn't the limiting factor. I've actually just removed the second 670 as its proved more trouble than it was worth. I eventually believed it interfered with FSX operation. Personally I would save for a 970, that's what I am going to do. All the best Jason Jason Jackett
January 3, 201610 yr Author Hello, I'll be looking for new GTX980, here is a bit expensive still. Around 820€. Regards, Chirag Geiantilal
January 3, 201610 yr In my experience I'd still wait or save some money and go for the 970. Much more bang for your buck card.... Jason Jackett
January 5, 201610 yr Or wait for the PASCAL's to come out and reasses the situation....that's what I am doing at this point with my new build. Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom
January 5, 201610 yr This is very easy: do you want it for flight sims only or for other games too? If for flight sims only a second card for SLI is throwing your money to the garbage, as like others have said, the sims don't use SLI...
