A must share - BEAUTIFUL Video

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

This got posted today at EAA (still pics and description also at EAA) & elsewhere. A short 3 minute video.

The 2015 MAAC invitational flyin at Brodhead (C37).

The following are all members of Chapter 651 in the video.

0:15 Don Kiel's 1954 Beech 18 / C45H in the morning dew.

1:28 Don Kiel (Lt) talking about his plane.

2:05 Jay Baeten (Lt) & Dennis Van Gheem (Rt) under Jay's '54 C170B. (I have 3 hours in that 170 as PIC)  Dennis has been restoring a 1934 Stinson Gullwing for almost 8 years. It will be a Grand Champion one day. Jay was the president of MAAC (Midwest Antique Aircraft Club) for many years, retiring just this year.

2:14 Clete Cisler. You will rarely see him not smiling - A great guy! He is a past president of our chapter & is currently our Scholarship Director for for future young pilots. He flies a 1958 Piper PA-16 Short Wing Clipper.

Enjoy!

Just a fantastic video, I'm a member of EAA and I first saw this video the other day and it really brings back memories of the fly ins of that period in time. Thanks for sharing it so everyone at AVSIM can view it.

Regards

Lamar Wright
