September 20, 200520 yr What's wrong with the PSS concorde? It's so inexpensive and by far has the most buttons and switches out of all the addons I have. So far it's the only aircraft I own that i can't even get the engines started. I think it's definitely their most complex product. September 20, 200520 yr HI JeffIf you are really into Concorde the differences are huge.Accurate CG modelling, correct modelling of the fuel system, auto pilot modelling, accurate INS interface, full switchable VC,the external model actually looks like the Concorde which is more than i can say for the PSS one which completely ballsed up the nose/visor area. The update will feature a virtual engineer if you dont want to learn the ins and outs of that panel but for those people "into" the Concorde i really dont see why a VE is a benefit but it will be there. The amount of extra detail like modelling of de bow starts(which PSS sais where impossible to model)gives you some idea whi the Altitude Concorde is right there with LDS and PMDG as the leaders in modelling and design of FS aircraft. The PSS Concorde is a nice "light" version but (with an inaccurate model) if you want to see what operating the real bird is all about right down to crunching the performance numbers then the real deal is this one.Darren
September 20, 200520 yr Not sure about the PSS Concorde but I am very impressed with what I saw for this Concorde. Doubt I will buy it and I even like the disclaimer that its not for the beginner but do like how there seems to be big steps in the advancements of what can be modelled in FS and with add-on a/c.Kilstorm
September 20, 200520 yr There seems to be something missing from their website...The Price!Or am I blind...Darryl? :-kewl
September 20, 200520 yr "Customers who purchased the Altitude Concorde will be able to upgrade to this new title for $12.50 USD"Looking Very forward to this Upgrade. The SU2 version is Awesome. The SU3 version will be amazing. "What's wrong with the PSS concorde? It's so inexpensive and by far has the most buttons and switches out of all the addons I have."But do you actually know what all the buttons & switches do ??From a quote I heard while there was the Koch Media/PSS duel debate."The PSS concorde is for Gamers, While the Koch Media Version is for the true Simmer."
