Am working through some ctd issues on P3D v3

I run ASN networked

Under my p3d process tree is something called as_audio.exe. Under that tree is a greedy little thing called conhost.exe that is using 2.3 gb.

What is this and is there anything I can do to reduce the system overhead?

Regards

Hi David,

This is normal.  Conhost.exe is always used with certain apps (in this case, as_audio, a .NET console application), and it always shows 2GB virtual size in process explorer for some reason (I'm not sure why but it is apparent that this is not actual memory usage, but rather a maximum as needed).  Note that you'll probably have several conhost.exe entries, if not, run CMD prompt and you will, and it will also have 2GB virtual size.

In summary, this is normal and not a memory consumer.
