Brakes hang up in P3Dv3

Featured Replies

Recently I have been having a problem: when I start a flight (usually cold and dark), startup and prepare to taxi, let off the parking brake, I notice the red light in the lower left hand corner BRAKES is illuminated. When  I apply throttle, the a/c won't move. I press the "." and the buttons assigned to BRAKES and it will not release.

Sometimes I startup and all is OK, and then after taxiing to the runway and braking to slow before turning, the brakes lock and won't release.

When this happens the only solution seems to be to start another flight (i.e. reload the aircraft).

This happens with all of the a/c I am currently flying (A2A Cherokee, Carenado Navajo, RealAir Turbine Duke).

I have checked the settings in the SETTINGS area and all seems OK. I have not been able to get FSUIPC to load properly since going to P3Dv3.

Any suggestions?

Update your version of FSUIPC to the latest version and recalibrate your brakes.

Mike, Are you using a Logitech Controller by any chance? If so then have a look at this

Stupidly expensive rig, nonplussed Memsahib, disinterested offspring and a fascinated cat as Rio.  XP11, P3Dv3 and an Oculus Rift.
