fsx-se Blurred Textures FSX SE

Hi guys, new to the forums, up until yesterday my sim ran great, my scenery looked awesome even in the distance, i had good frame rates 30-40, everything was running smooth but had to reset my computer and start again, after defragging my HHD and reinstalling FSX SE the problem of blurred textures remain, I have tried a ton of CFG tweaks but really stumped on this, i have the smallest circle of clear textures around me then maybe 2 miles out and onward its just awful. 

 

AMD A86600K @4.5ghz

AMD XFX 7870 Double Black Edition GPU

8GB RAM

500GB HDD

 

no current add ons due to fresh install, getting around 90-110fps with all my sliders set to max, buildings and trees appear and flash in about a mile out, its really bugging me because up until a week ago I had the perfect clear scenery close and in the distance :( heres a copy of my CFG (no tweaks added)

This is related to a setting in your video card. It is not a software malfunction.

 

I'm not familiar with ATI cards, so I can't tell you which setting. The answer will be in your Catalyst Control Panel settings.

 

On an Nvidia card, disabling Transparency Multisampling will cause blurred textures and will screw up the letters in the menu bar at the top.

 

Not having Anisotropic Filtering enabled will also cause that.

 

Finally, as a last option, see if there are any LOD related settings. 0, or a positive number, will blur textures closest to you.

..yeah - the mystery of blurry Textures..!

 

I detected the main reason - it is about the Install and Uninstall of Addon Scenery (Free- and Payware) via the Auto Installer and removing via Control Panel or Uninstaller!!

 

For Testing i made a separate FSX Install on another PC to see what happens after uninstalling some Scenery!?

 

I am scared what i had to see which catastrophically Results : Essential Files are gone or left overwritten related to the important sections in Scenery,Texture, Autogen, LWcfg.

 

So that is i am wondering.., i made around 30 fresh Installs of FSX and every time the same Tragedy. At first everything is pretty nice. But after a few weeks all gets more and more blurry.

 

Now i Install a new Scenery Addon at my second PC by duplicating the original FSX Folders with a new empty one (with a Dummy File). After the install is done i copy the depending Files manually back to the Main FSX PC.

 

The Result after 4 Month practice this technique - is a crisp and clear FSX(FTX) World like at the First Day!
