PC for P3D

Featured Replies

Hello everybody I was just looking for advice for a new PC build so that I could run P3D well with addons like PMDG, GSX, etc. I have a budget of $800 and do not need any peripherals or an OS. Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks!

-Kyle

with that budget you can get a nice PC that will run P3D well.

my advise go only with intel for the processor

and for graphic card go only with Nvidia

You'll need to tell us what you have now really.

Right now I have an HP Pavillion 15 beats edition laptop. Specs link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA7AB33H1790&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-Notebooks-_-9SIA7AB33H1790&gclid=COmCmKOr-soCFZSEaQodH60O_w&gclsrc=aw.ds

I have a couple lists that I have been working on, let me know what you think: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CK2Lt6

If you're going with the Skylake build (6600k) you will need DDR4 memory not DDR3. Everything else seems fine, assuming you are on a budget. If not, it would be beneficial to get a 970 gtx and an i7 processor instead for a couple hundred or so more.

One more thing, if you plan on getting a K (unlocked) processor you will need a Z-chipset motherboard. The Asrock B150 you have selected for your Skylake build will not let you overclock the multiplier.
