FS2CREW Q400 Setup guide has an error?

Featured Replies

Just purchased the FS2crew Q400. On pages 8 and 9 ( Voice control and button control ) It tells you to set

1: Soft Mute to the FSX assignment PROPELLER SYNC (ON/OFF)

2. Hard Mute to the FSX assignment ALTERNATE STATIC SOURCE (ON/OFF)

Then on pages 10 and 11 ( Main & Secondary button setup )  it tells you to assign the same FSX assignments to the Main & Secondary button setup as you did for the Mute!

1. Main Button to the FSX assignment ALTERNATE STATIC SOURCE (ON/OFF)

2. Secondary Button to the FSX assignment PROPELLER SYNC (ON/OFF)

???????????????????????

Thanks

Pete

That's correct.

FYI, the CTRL key also functions as Soft Mute by default.  Some people find that useful.

Voice and Button control can share the same assignments since Voice and Button are separate.

You would not for example need or use Soft or Hard Mute when using Button Control.
