CTD when entering waypoints in 530 FPL page

Featured Replies

Hi there, I'm having a strange problem where if I try to add a waypoint to the FPL page of the 530 my sim crashes. It only seems to happen at CYBD (I've tried it at another airport on the other side of the world and it works fine).

The first time it happened, this error message appeared: http://imgur.com/J3NUFXa

The next time the sim just crashed with no message. Here's the EventViewer log: http://imgur.com/FiLA92W

Furthermore, I appear to be having the same issue as the poster here: http://www.avsim.com/topic/465490-crash-to-desktop-at-cbx5/. I tried inputting a waypoint at CBX5 and got the same result. So maybe it's something to do with Canada :P

I have the latest RealNavData database installed and am running Prepar3d v2.4 on Windows 7 64bit.

Anyway, hoping you can provide some assistance. Really liking the product so far, and can't wait to get it up and running again!

Cheers!

Great, enjoy your weekend :)

A temporary fix I've found is to enter the flight plan in another country and save it to the catalog so that it may be loaded at a later date. Only problem is that this method doesn't allow you to modify it during the flight (loading approaches still works though)

Any news on this issue? I have the same problem, anytime I enter a waypoint and then push the enter key on the GNS to add it to the Flight Plan, P3D (V3.2) crashes to desktop without an error message.
