  1. Hi, I've had two GNS430s running flawlessly as 2D popups in Alabeo's Seminole for a few weeks now, but all of a sudden they've stopped powering on when I load the sim. The popups appear, but the screens are blank and the volume/power knob doesn't turn them on. Here is my rxpGNS2.gau.log: 19/09/18 00:20:54.224 05776 - ] # rxpGNS2.dll version 19/09/18 00:20:54.221 05776 INFO ] 19/09/18 00:20:54.331 05776 ERROR] GNS: failed to open simulation Any ideas? Cheers!
  2. Hi everyone, I'm looking into getting the GNS 430 V2 for FSX steam addition. My question is: can I install on two PCs, or do I need to buy another licence per computer? Cheers!
  3. Hi everyone, I'm using the Noble Flight Sim G1000 Panel, and was wondering if there is any way I can set it up to work with Carenado's G1000? I.e. the HDG bug on my panel controls the HDG bug in the sim. Cheers!
  4. Looks like it was BOB used in conjunction with WAMA!! Thanks to both of you!
  5. Hi everyone, I'm trying to remember the name of an addon that I saw on YouTube a while ago that allowed you to walk around the apron and 'select' an aircraft to fly from inside the sim. In the video the default Caravan was parked and the user approached it, did a walk around, then opened a menu that allowed them to fly it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't EzDok or DBS W&F. Hopefully this provides some clues as to what addon it was! It seemed like a really cool way to increase immersion! Cheers!
  6. Hi all, Would someone please be willing to give this a crack using the Carenado C152? Cheers!!!!
  7. The lag when changing the power setting is a normal characteristic of a turbine engine - particularly the PT6. As for trim, have you tried it on a still wind day? If you're using a weather engine I wouldn't be surprised if it's turbulence that's disturbing the aircraft.
  8. Great, enjoy your weekend A temporary fix I've found is to enter the flight plan in another country and save it to the catalog so that it may be loaded at a later date. Only problem is that this method doesn't allow you to modify it during the flight (loading approaches still works though)
  9. Hi there, I'm having a strange problem where if I try to add a waypoint to the FPL page of the 530 my sim crashes. It only seems to happen at CYBD (I've tried it at another airport on the other side of the world and it works fine). The first time it happened, this error message appeared: http://imgur.com/J3NUFXa The next time the sim just crashed with no message. Here's the EventViewer log: http://imgur.com/FiLA92W Furthermore, I appear to be having the same issue as the poster here: http://www.avsim.com/topic/465490-crash-to-desktop-at-cbx5/. I tried inputting a waypoint at CBX5 and got the same result. So maybe it's something to do with Canada I have the latest RealNavData database installed and am running Prepar3d v2.4 on Windows 7 64bit. Anyway, hoping you can provide some assistance. Really liking the product so far, and can't wait to get it up and running again! Cheers!
  10. +1 I've been turning the copilot's PFD off even though I get pretty decent frames anyway. It just makes things just that little bit smoother in busier airports.
  11. Hi everyone, this may seem like a strange and unnecessary request but I like my sim to be as realistic as possible! Anyway, I was just watching the video posted in this thread: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/408402-rw-start-up-vid/ and I noticed that the G1000 actually takes a lot longer to boot up and align itself in real life than it does in the sim currently. I am wondering if there is a value in the files anywhere that I can change to get a more realistic start up time? Again, I know this may sound strange, but the current start up time is way too quick (especially the MFD!).
  12. Is there anyway to modify how much power is required when taxiing this thing on the ground? As was said on the previous page, in the real aircraft (haven't flown a TBM but have flown a Piper Meridian and this is what happens) you should need to pull back into beta just to keep it taxiing at a safe speed (currently you need ~50% torque just to get moving).
  13. Anyone know if Carenado modelled the weather radar?
