March 19, 201610 yr The default P3d cumulus01.bmp is 256 as are the various cirrus/high clouds textures. The cloud textures are mipmapped (the actual bitmap is 512x256 to accommodate the smaller bitmaps used at distance) and are 4x4 texture sheets of the various sprites. Each sprite in the largest bitmap is a 64x64 pixels. In case you're wondering, the term MIP comes from the Latin, multum in parvo, meaning "much in little"
