Looking for someone to add a couple of popups w/ clickspots

Featured Replies

I am too busy writing the review to do this myself but, I think the popup lovers would love to have a couple of more popups for the CJ2. I am an old fart with poor hearing and declining eyesight (this is for you to feel sorry for me) and I can't see the annunciator details. Hell, I couldn't read them in the real Citation when I had good eyesight. I also don't like to scroll down to the AP at the back of the console and Shift +3 is such a bore when I have to take my hands off both the throttle and flight stick at the same time. Sooooo.

Could someone code the AP panel popup with a clickspot somewhere easy on the panel and also make a popup with the annunciators enlarged a bit and maybe place it above the VC annunciator panel so it could be popped up for a quick look and then back down again?

I am willing to give someone an original, signed copy (online, of course) of the Avsim review for this special request.

Best Regards,

Ray

While we are at it. How about a modified MFD popup for the GTN users that only has the engine instruments. Like this.  :Tounge:  Wouldn't that be nice.

Hello Ray

For the Autopilot Popup,

1 Make a copy of panel.cfg
2 Add bold  line to [Vcockpit02]

[Vcockpit02]

gauge00=AUTOPILOT_CJ2525A!autopilot_button, 0, 0, 512, 129
gauge01=CARPROLINE21_CJ2525A!dcp_bezel, 526, 137, 184, 884
gauge02=AUTOPILOT_CJ2525A!autopilot_down, 0, 132, 512, 300

gauge03=CJ2525ACAR!Toggle10130, 476, 20, 48, 48

Note: does not need an xml toggle, it uses the the toggle that came with the Plane

Did that first day, the rest to come later, a bit more laborious.

Cheers

Ramón.

Excellent Ramon. Thanks.

EDIT. 2 seconds to add it and it works great. Just what the Doctor ordered.

Mucho Gracias.

This little feature should help with the ALT knob.

Ditto!  Thank you!

Yep, it does Ray and Jim's little tip " Lastly there should be a tooltip on the base of the VC altitude selector that shows the preset altitude value, the base of the knob (blue circle) sets 1000s, the end of the knob (yellow circle) sets 100s."

Dutch1, this is the knob I think could be better used.

Glad to contribute guys!

BTW: The Annunciator Popup is almost ready, just have to adjust a few things.

Big Size, for those tired eyes.

Big time lunch party now, so later.

Easy now, you may get old one day. I hope the lunch party in not in the OR, if so go easy on the margaritas. The quick work is looking good. I can almost read them from here.

Ray
