  1. I guess I am not understanding this whole "Run the installer and uncheck the notifications" The notifications is on the very last page of the installer. The first page you get is to install which version. If I do not want to overwrite my existing installation would I not have to uncheck the version as well so that way when I get to the last page and uncheck notifications, it will not overwrite my current RXP version?
  2. Won't that still overwrite my existing installation or do I have to uncheck anything else?
  3. I am in the same situation. I have the RXP for XP11 and Flight 1 for P3D. Based on their responses back to me in their forum thread it gave me the impression that I am on my own related to the latest GARMIN update. So, I am thinking on getting the RXP version for P3D and uninstalling all Flight 1 items. Is there an easy way to de-config (if such a word) the Flight 1 GTNs form aircraft or do you have to go through each aircraft config file?
  4. Sorry for the delay. I did a flight this morning. After landing, I followed everything you had mentioned. I was still having an issue...until...I set the parking brake back on. When I set the parking brake, the chocks, GPU plugs, etc all worked. I could turn them on and off. As soon as released the parking brake, everything (GPU, Chocks) dissappeared and I had the same situation again just like my video. So it would appear that it is the parking brake that is triggering if I can connect the items or not after a flight. I was also using the latest update (Version 4.3c).
  5. Yup, aware. Just finished the video. I did not show the whole flight from KMRY to KSFO, but key parts. You will see that when I get to KSFO (around the 6:00 mark), I set the parking brakes, turn off the engines, and then my issue with the airport config tab not allowing me to do anything until I set "All systems off" shows itself. https://flymirageva.org/pdf/test2.zip
  6. Thanks for verifying my question. Therein lies the problem I have been having. If I shut down the engines and then try to connect the GPU or do anything under aircraft options, nothing works. However, if I do Shift+1 then all systems off, then everything under aircraft options works fine. I will try to create a short video tonight.
  7. Once you finished, did you do the all shut down before connecting the GPU?
  8. Are you using the F35 as default first before flying?
  9. I did another test this evening, starting off with the F35 and then shifting to the LJ35. All went well. However, I think a new issue has come up. Both yesterday and today, when I park the aircraft and shut down the engines, none of the selections under aircraft options work. I can't get the chocks to set, the GPU to set, nothing works. When I try to put on the engine covers they start to blink as if a key is stuck somewhere. It is only when I select "all systems off" in the Hangar that everything returns to normal. I also double checked the AFCS lights afterwards and they still work. Again, this has happened twice. I will do a another test flight tomorrow night.
  10. I did a test. Below is a link to the video I made. It is about seven minutes long. In the video, you will see it start with the F35 and engines running. You will then a switch to the Lear 35 (I am using the latest version as of yesterday). From then on you will see me test during various phases (prestart, start, taxi, takeoff, autopilot engagement). The link to the video is located at https://flymirageva.org/pdf/l35test.zip If you need to see the full 18 minutes, let me know.
  11. Thanks for the reply! WIll try the steps later today. I will make a short video of the steps you have suggested.
  12. I have the same AP panel lights issue since I puchased the plane last week. I have submitted two support emails and was referred to this thread. Which CAB file are we talking about and also the default flight files? I love the plane and the autopilot works fine, just no indications at all. Makes no difference if i try cold and dark or ready to start profiles. I am using P3D4.5 HF2.
  13. The clickspots are located in the lower blank areas of the condition levers, left and right of the words "COND" (it is a big area click wise). Use the words as your gudies, e.g., Click to the left of the "C" for the left condition lever and click to the right of the "D" for the right conditon lever. Also, the levers do not move any farther south of the FUEL OFF markings once you click on the clickspots. Regards
  14. It is posted. Sale good until December 17th
  15. Unfortunately, I have had the same problem. I purchased the aircraft a couple of weeks ago and have encountered the same issue: extremely fast taxi speeds even while having the Conditions levers pulled back. I find that I have watch the speed very closely.
  16. From the home page, I did click around and then the FSXInsider page opened in an external window. Also, I can manually go into those folders and open any of the web pages manually with no problems. For example, the Learning Center location is C:\Flight Simulator X\Uires\lc01.htm I can open the link manually and see everything, all tabs, all boxes. Just can't see 'em in FSX. I can go into the Lessons Directory and load up a lesson htm file externally with no problem.
  17. Thanks for responding. Yes, the dlgsplash.bmp is present and it loads up when you first start FSX. The Free Flight, Missions, Multiplayer, Pilot Records, and Settings pages all load fine. It is just the mission brief, along with the Learning Center page and Home page that loads up blank, even though leads to believe it has to be something related to FSX's internal browser or it could be graphically related....I am not sure.. Like I had stated above, even though the screen is blank, I can still move my mouse around the Home and Learning Center screens and see the mouse cursor change from an arrow to a hand pointer. Just seems so odd to me.
  18. Tried it with no luck. In fact, when FSX starts up, I can hear the music from the home screen playing but the home screen is blank.
  19. I have been searching to try to find an answer to this issue but it seems that the problem that I am experiencing may be one that is rare. First off, I have no crashes to desktop, my system is running fine and FSX is running fine. My issue is when I go to the Learning Center via the FSX opening screen menu, the Learning Center screen is blank. I can move my mouse cursor around the blank portion of the screen and see the cursor change from an arrow to a hand, but, everything is still blank. I can select the multiplayer, free flight, and mission screen via their links and those screen load right up. Now, as far as the mission screen is concerned, when I try to select a brief for any mission, the briefing screen will not open, even though I can still select to fly the mission or cancel. Finally, when I am flying a mission and go to the knee board, the brief screen is also blank as well as other screens within the knee board. Like I said at the beginning, FSX does not crash at all and I can fly missions or operate FSX normally for hours with no problems. As a workaround, I can load the mission screens in my external IE 11 Browser with no problems or warning indicated. I can also load the Learning Center going through the Uires Folder. My FSweb and Lessons folders are also all intact and I can open the .htm files externally without any issues. I think the problem may be browser-related but I just can't seem to nail it down. Any thoughts? I am also using WIndows 7. Regards
