April 7, 201610 yr NZNI 4 – Auckland and More Starting from Kaitaia the route proceeds south with stops at Dargaville (NZDA), Springhill (NZSL), Northshore (NZNE) before flying around Auckland Harbor. After a touch and go at Auckland International we head across the mudflats and inlet to Manakau Head before turning south again to Mercer (NZME) and then Hamilton (NZHN). The final leg is a longish 133nm run across the North Island to Gisborne. Because the route is somewhat long (372nm) an aircraft capable of 250+knts is recommended. April 8, 201610 yr Author Don't have a warbird. Any suggestions? Find something that is reasonably fast in your hanger like the Legacy, Epic LT, TBM850, or a Business Jet. | Windows 11 | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | i9-14900K | RTX 4090 | 64GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 | 4TB Samsung 990 PRO M.2 | 2x 4TB Samsung 990 PRO M.2 | CORSAIR AX1600i ATX Titanium | LG C2 42 Inch 4K OLED |
