Flying Wild Alaska 2.2

This is the continuation of my journey through Alaska.

 

Almost 6 months since my last flight ... today the route goes from Gulkana to ... let's see ...

 

 

Not the best weather, but we aren't in the Carribean

 

 

 

 

Some flight sim enthusiasts like wingviews - here it goes

 

 

 

Until now the landscape was kind of boring and the clouds intimidating - now it becomes the other way round

Not far away from the destination - Talkeetna (PATK). It is somewhere behind the hill in front

 

 

Signs of civilization

 

 

 

Shortly before touchdown. It was such a smooth landing this time, I barely noticed it (wasn't sure, if I already touched ground).

This is Talkeetna - 876 inhabitants and almost as many planes :wink: (many more than in this screenshot)
