May 1, 201610 yr Hey I am fairly new to FSX and have played about 150 hours most of those hours being with the default 737-800 and I was wondering if there is any payware out there that upgrades the panels, exterior and aesthetics of the aircraft without adding any of the complexity that comes with payware such as iFly or PMDG. Thanks.
May 1, 201610 yr For a start you can go to the AVSIM library and search. TDS make decent freeware aircraft. First download a basepack (search 'TDS 737-800 basepack'), and then download a livery for the type of basepack you have (search for 'tds 737', look for FSX version). May 1, 201610 yr Administrators Go to Google and type in FSX FSND. Go to that site and scroll down the page for 737 and 747 cockpit upgrades. May 1, 201610 yr There are cockpit upgrades, new liveries and sound packs too. I downloaded a freeware 737 and it included a lovely meaty soundset that I now use. Like you I fly the default 737 (and more usually the A321) with lots of upgrades. - Paul Elliott http://www.avsim.com/topic/450607-amy-johnson-london-to-australia-attempt/
