October 17, 200520 yr Came across this site. In Russian. Downloads are at the bottom of the page. You will only need the smaller file. Great aircraft/panel conbination.http://il18.fluo.net/ John
October 17, 200520 yr Great stuff, these russian add-ons!But though I've downloaded some and archived, I don't fly them either because the manual and instrument labels are in cyrillic which I can't read at all, and/or navigation is so sophisticated that I'd almost need a study completed in maths to master them. A pity...Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. Respice, lector: In nihil ab nihilo quam cito recidimus.

October 17, 200520 yr <<<<>>>>>>>>You mean the bigger file, John, surely. The smaller file is navaids for Russia today or USSR 'before'.This one has been about for a couple of years, actually, hosted on the regular Russian site, I think. But it's good to be reminded of her at the back of my own hangar ... she's a beaut, thanks.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
October 17, 200520 yr >You mean the bigger file, John, surely. The smaller file is>navaids for Russia today or USSR 'before'.Hi Mark. The first (15 mb) file is "Il-18D_setup.exe". This installs the aircraft. The second (47 mb) file is a zip file that includes nav aids and scenery.Has anyone managed to get the ILS to show up on the panel? I've tuned in the correct frequency, but the ILS needles do not activate. John
October 18, 200520 yr Hi Mark and all,I suggest you try the Tu 114 and AN 24 from Samdim.Their virtue (beside being excellent models) is that they have quite extensive docs in english. I believe that once you have mastered those two, the transition to the il-18 would not require that great an effort//Michael
