Any Thoughts on When the 980ti prices will drop?

Featured Replies

Curious what the consensus is on when, and by how much of a price drop will we see on the 980ti? I'd like to replace my 780GTX, but hoping with the 1080 due out in about a week, the prices start to drop considerably.

it seems like usually the price points stay the same and the models drop to fit them. i'd expect after they are out for a month or two and there is a good supply of the 1080s around, that the 980s could get as low as the $250-300 new range. of course at that point it might be worth to consider the $370 for the 1070 instead..

Yeah, I'm going to hold onto my 980ti as I think the demand for the 1080 is going to crush their supply and I won't be lucky till 2017.
