They are all installed on my P3D 2.5 Lately I experience a strange behavior of my contrails, both with my planes and AI. The contrail starts correctly on the back of the plane, then after a brief horizontal line, it suddenly angles 90 degrees down to the ground and it reaches the earth surface. What can I do? Thanks. May 26, 201610 yr Author Keven, thanks for your kind help. I'm posting the effects section at the foot of this. First I have to say I fixed my problem for now but I keep this as an interim solution. Here's what I did: 1) I disinstalled 777 immersion from VFX central, 2) I removed fx_contrail_s.fx, fx_contrail_l.fx, fx_smoke.bmp and fx_1.bmp and installed fresh original ones, 3) I looked in the box of the old things and found an old copy of Immersion before VFX central and installed it. Damn it worked! Let me say i love it, not the contrails only but the whole old package seems to me (strange) to have more (visual) appeal. By the way here's the old configuration before my changes. If you find something strange I can turn on VFX central again and have a new try. At least i found a solution that works for me. Thanks. May 26, 201610 yr Based on my own observations of this very same problem in P3D v2.4, I am pretty sure that it was a bug. When I upgraded to P3D v3, the problem vanished.
