Continuation of my leg 2.4 - today direction East to ... we'll see. Today a different bush plane, but still ERA Alaska.

 

 

Upwards to the clouds, in the background still visible PAWD.

 

 

... and leaving the clouds again.

 

 

So much ice here.

 

 

 

Enroute

 

 

 

 

 

Shortly before arrival to one of the waypoints, the VOR Johnstone.

 

 

Below is not (yet) my destination, otherwise I would have to take the parachute.

 

 

But now ... for something completely different ... the landing lights (for PAVD - Valdez).

 

 

 

"Stress" during the final approach. But I believe the captain of the cruise ship is also strained, such "small" passages are usually not easy and he has even more knobs in his "cockpit" than we pilots.

 

 

What do they load here? Maybe Alaska pollock?

 

 

Once more concentration for the touchdown.

 

 

Where to turn?
