June 2, 201610 yr We discussed it here... http://www.avsim.com/topic/489120-gtx-1080-thermal-throttling-issuesstock/ You are right, he is a big boy. Awesome looking card from Asus. And I like the direct contact heat pipes. Nice 10 phase VRM too.
June 2, 201610 yr The only drawback is the throttle issiue. I know that Evga, Asus or all vendors work hard no sulotion yet. Its something in the code for the chip not a simpel bios and firmware uppdate. And the 30% gain on 60% higher clock compared to 980Ti http://
June 3, 201610 yr Hasse... If it's not simply a BIOS/firmware issue, then would that suggest there's no solution? Would the only solution be during manufacture of the chip, so we would have to wait for a tweak to the design? Do you have any links?
June 3, 201610 yr Its dead silent, Roman the Guy on the video answer this Quote I get that LN2 results are being saved for Computex, but why is NOBODY showing their results yet? because there is nothing to show. 1.25 Volt limit. Not much more to say http://
