yeah, I did that.  that "Turn knob is centered (There is a click spot to center the turn knob just above it)" is that the big one below the the gyropilot switch? [used to turn the plane while in autopilot]

Yes this is the turn knob (No 377 I believe in the POH where the cockpit is shown in pictures), The clickspot to auto center is between the two lights, the grey round think just above the turn knob, just below the gyro pilot switch. Also make sure when trying to enable the autopilot you are not moving the yoke around.
